Our loyalty discounts work on a per item level.

This means when you (for example) redeem $100 off an order, the system will remove a few $ off every item in your order to equal to the $x off discount code you have used, in this scenario = to $100 total.

Therefore, during a refund, the amount refunded to your account may slightly differ vs the price that the product is listed for, on the website.

If we were to refund the same amount listed on the website post discount, this would be the equivalent of giving money out as you would have technically not paid the FULL price for that item.

The system will adjust your refund amount based on how many $ was taken off that product post discount, as a refund amount, that is governed by the global Shopify system.
